William At Andover High School Football Team
The Andover Golden Warriors football team benefitted greatly by having their 6 foot 1 inch 195-pound wide receiver, William Heikkinen; especially since he seemed to be quarterback, CJ Scarpa’s, main focus during much of the 2013 season. Heikkinen was a senior that year and a two-time Merrimack Valley Conference All-Star. He caught 67 passes for 1,162 yards and nine touchdowns his last season to add to the 7 interceptions from his cornerback position.

William With Brown Bears
There’s a history between Andover High School and Brown University. Several members of the high school football team have gone on to have illustrious college careers as Brown Bears and this is what Will hopes for as well. The proximity of Providence to Andover is appealing because Will can have freedom, yet home is within driving distance. The historic city location doesn’t hurt either. The academic program at Brown is superb and can prepare any over-achieving student, such as Will, for life in the real world. Overall it’s a great fit.
